Getting started with SkyPounce

Learn the movement first, then build a score, open new routes and try a duel. A few saving checks will help you keep the progress you make.

1. Learn a jump before chasing every bird

Begin with the skateboard and use the jump aiming to choose where the cat will go. Look at the landing as well as the bird you are trying to catch. Changing direction on the road can help you line up another attempt.

Floating islands give you more landing places above the street. Start with a route you can follow, then try reaching a bird that sits farther from it. Catching birds adds to your score, but a missed landing can cost the mood you need to keep going.

2. Watch hearts, hazards and protection

Keep an eye on the mood display while you play. Collect hearts to recover mood, and watch for street hazards before committing to a leap. A route that looked clear a moment ago may need another look.

Fearlessness provides temporary protection. It can help with a dangerous stretch or a boss encounter, but it expires. Watch the remaining protection time rather than treating it as permanent safety.

3. Spend coins on the next route

Coins open another part of the city and access to new rides. Check the price at a locked passage, then choose when to unlock it. Simply touching a boundary does not make a purchase.

Try each ride on its own terms. The tractor stays on the ground; the helicopter takes you into the sky. Both use charged shots. Let the charge refill and choose your aim before firing, instead of expecting every quick repeat to produce the same burst.

4. Read the boss encounter

The guard dog and motorcycle courier bring different moving threats. Watch the approach, time a leap and leave yourself a landing route. If you use Fearlessness, make the protected interval count before taking another risk.

5. Try a score window or a duel

Your ten-minute record is based on active adventure play. Pauses are not extra scoring time, and time spent in a duel does not advance the adventure’s ten-minute window. Work on catches and safe movement through the whole window, then compare the result with your previous record.

For a direct rival, enter an online 1v1 battle. It can run for up to three minutes, and a confirmed win awards one coin. Use a stable connection and keep SkyPounce open until the result appears. See the FAQ for the current leaderboard views.

6. Choose a nickname and protect your save

Your nickname appears in online results and duels. Use a public name without an email address, phone number or other contact details. The game checks the name’s format and applies a short delay between changes.

You do not need Google sign-in to play. An anonymous game account supports online features; optional Google linking adds cloud saving. Before changing phones, connect the original installation to the Google Account you intend to use on the new device.

Keep the original installation if a save does not appear as expected. Clearing storage can remove your local progress and make an anonymous account harder to identify. Android device backup and the game’s Google-linked cloud save are separate services.

7. Find the right kind of help

The SkyPounce FAQ covers rides, scoring, privacy choices and saves. For a bug, tell support which ride or mode you were using and what happened. Account deletion is under Settings → Account and cloud storage → Delete account. The email request option is also explained in the deletion instructions.
