FAQ

Timerine FAQ

Answers to common setup, notification and data questions, with links to the guides when you need a fuller walkthrough.

Do I need to register?

No. Timerine does not require registration or ask you to create a personal profile. Timer settings, saved countdown state and daily statistics are stored on your device.

Can focus and break lengths be different?

Yes. Focus supports 1–240 minutes and breaks support 1–60 minutes, with defaults of 25 and 5 minutes. Choose a pair that fits the task and the time available. See session examples for work, programming, reading, studying and short tasks.

What do auto-start and its delay do?

Auto-start begins the next session automatically and is enabled by default. You can turn it off or choose a transition delay of 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds. Try the settings with a short session so you know how the pattern behaves before you use it for a longer block.

Why am I not seeing notifications?

Check notification preferences in Timerine and the app’s notification permission in Android settings. Also check precise-alarm access for background timing and whether a device mode is suppressing reminders. If it continues, tell support whether Timerine was open or in the background when the notification was expected.

Does Timerine remember a countdown?

The app stores timer state needed to restore the countdown, including running, paused and next-session information. If the state you see after returning is unexpected, note the prior action and displayed time so support can investigate.

Which themes are available?

You can choose system, dark or light theme mode. The preference is stored locally with the app’s other settings.

What appears in daily statistics?

The record includes completed focus sessions, focused minutes and break minutes. Day, seven-day and thirty-day views let you review recent history and charts. Read counts alongside minutes, particularly when you change session lengths. The statistics guide explains a simple way to review them.

What does Premium do?

Premium disables ads. The subscription uses Google Play Billing, which provides purchase status so the app can enable and restore Premium benefits. Check the app’s current purchase screen for the offer and terms. If an active benefit is missing, contact support before purchasing again.

How do I delete my local data?

Clear Timerine’s storage/data in Android settings or uninstall the app. This removes the local copy of settings, timer state and statistics. Android backup may retain or restore eligible data, so review backup settings separately. Timerine has no registration account to delete. Uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play Premium subscription; manage it in Google Play. The privacy policy describes third-party analytics and advertising data separately.
